Energy data and intelligence provider TGS has introduced Well Data Analytics, a cloud-based analytics platform.

Well Data Analytics is designed for benchmarking, predicting and optimising well performance with data quality and accuracy, for energy professionals.

Combining industry’s largest library of subsurface data, powerful visualisation and advanced analytics, the analytics tool enables presentation-ready exports and images in seconds, claimed the company.

TGS Digital Energy Solutions executive vice-president Jan Schoolmeesters said: “The tool was meticulously designed with and for our customers and we take great pride in our collaborative approach.

“At every stage of development, we actively engaged our customers to guarantee an exceptional user experience and impeccable data quality, including valuable geologic insights, which serve as the cornerstone of Well Data Analytics.”

The customisable cloud-based analytics platform leverages TGS’ extensive data portfolio to offer access to “highly competitive” well data within seconds for users to drive efficient analysis and effective decision-making.

Furthermore, the analytics tool provides users with easy and fast access to vast cloud-based well data resources that are ready to use.

In a statement, TGS said: “The Well Data Analytics combines highly adaptable search workflows, multi-variate map-based visualisations and analytics, advanced time-series plotting, benchmarking tools, and highly customisable dashboard layouts with high-quality well data and well performance data in a cloud-based application.

“These key features allow users to benchmark, predict and optimise well performance easier and with more accuracy.”

Well Data Analytics also provides quality-controlled well data including completions details, directional surveys, Drill Stem Tests, EUR data, forecasts, formation tops, geological data, headers, permits, production metrics and wellbore spacings.
